TARGET at Technical High School is comprised of students who enjoy living a chemically free lifestyle. They are involved in various activities in school and the community that promote this lifestyle.
Like other MSHSL activities, TARGET awards letters to
students who meet the participation requirements in our lettering
policy. TARGET also has membership requirements, outlined
in our membership application.
Team members who pursue post-secondary education are eligible
for a apply for a scholarship.
1. Leadership training at Arrowwood in Alexandria, MN
2. Unity-building activities after school and on weekends
3. Community service projects
4. Elementary and Junior High classroom education on how to deal with peer pressure
5. Strengthen membership and presence at Tech
6. Work with Smoke Free Communities on special projects
7. Participate in Rip It Out Campaign
8. Network with other TARGET groups in area schools
9. Conduct MN Chemical Health Week activities at school
Meetings will be held on the 2nd and/or 4th Thursday of each month.
