Her background includes 16 years of interior and graphic design prior to teaching, as well as experience in photography, ceramics, watercolor painting, drawing, printmaking, and media arts. ArtsNetMn Article Geoff Hamerlinck, a 2002 Tech graduate, designed "Painty Brush" and is currently attending St. Cloud State University majoring in Art. Kelly Imholte, a 2002 Tech Graduate, designed the Palette icon and is a recent graduate of Alexandria Technical College. NEWS RELEASE FROM: Alexandria Technical College Students Win 80 % of the “Gold Rock” Awards AdFed is a professional organization of advertisers, ad agencies, and graphic designers that gather once a year to "show their stuff". Students from various schools also compete in the student division where their work is judged by professionals. Forty-six students from the Communication Art and Design program at Alexandria Technical College (ATC) earned the coveted Addy and Citation Awards. Two-year, four-year, and private schools competed on February 22 in the annual art competition that is held at the historic Paramount Theatre in St. Cloud, Minnesota. She is a teacher, photographer and graphic designer. She has brought her unique mix of experience in the worlds of education, design and business to many schools and organizations, teaching and collaborating with participants to develop their own skills and curriculum.
