TARGET

TARGET is a group of strong, positive student leaders who play a key role in helping prevent chemical use in their school and community. We believe a student can make a significant difference in prevention by staying chemically free and showing others the right values to leading a productive life. Objectives in TARGET are to identify student leaders and provide the opportunity for them to make a clear commitment to being chemically free and helping others. This is done by providing education programs and training workshops to better develop their leadership skills, public speaking skills and other areas of their life.

Beliefs: we believe that strong student leadership can help students set goals, resist influences to use chemicals and reward safe and healthy behavior.

Both Apollo and Technical High Schools have excellent, active TARGET groups running. To find out more or to learn how to become a member, contact either Brady Hughs or John Heckman.
