Lincoln Named a Four Star School in 2006
This year Lincoln earned a four star academic performance rating in the area of Reading and a three star academic performance rating in the area of Math form the Minnesota Department of Education. The rating system that was introduced in 2003 is based heavily on results from the Minnesota Comprehensive Assessment Exams (reading and math) as well as other indicators such as student safety policies and availability of academic opportunities for a variety of learners. In 2005 Lincoln was a four star school in both subjects. Out of the 1,975 K-12 schools in Minnesota only 127 scored five stars and 115 scored four stars.
