Physical Description
Pythons can grow to be 33 feet long and can weigh up to 250 pounds. They have two rows of teeth in their upper jaw. They also have fangs but they don't make venom. They have scales on their bellies that help them move along the ground.
Habitat
Pythons live in rain forests, grasslands, woodlands, and swamps. They are mostly found in Africa, Asia, and Australia.
Eating Habits
If the python is really hungry it can eat birds, monkeys, pigs and antelope. There was even one python that ate a leopard! They grab what they want to eat and wrap around it and squeeze. They are NOT trying the break any bones in the animal. They are trying to make it so it can't breath. If the animal can't breath for a long time it will die and then the python will eat it.
