Physical Description
The Polar bear grows a thick fur coat. Polar bear's coats are white, but they're skin is black. Their hair is made of clear tubes filled with air. This helps them stay warm. Blubber, fat, helps polar bears to stay warm. Blubber can be as thick as 2 to 4 inches. Their noses are very good. Their noses can smell a seal up to 20 miles away. The mother feeds it's cub milk from it's body.
Habitat
Polar bears live in the Arctic, Canada, Norway, Greenland, Alaska, Siberia, Soviet Union, and icy places. Polar bears don't like to hibernate because it is cold all the time. Polar bears make dens from beneath the snowny ground when the mother is trying to give birth to it's young.
Eating Habits
Polar bears are mainly meat eaters but their favorite food is seal . They will eat walrus and caribous. It is dangerous for a polar bear to eat garbage and to be fed by people.
