This moose is looking for food.

Description

The moose is brown.  They either have split toes or two toes.  Moose have a built in bell which is a large flap of skin under their chin.They have long legs and large antlers.  They also have darker skin than other deer.

Habitat

Moose live in forests that strech across Canada and the northen United States.  They eat shrubs and small trees.  The forests provide food and shelter from weather and hunters.  

Interesting Facts

An Alaskin moose can be 7 feet tall.  Moose can also weigh up to 1400 pounds.  It is the third biggest animal in North Amereca.  Moose are part of the deer family. Wolves are their enemy.
