Description

Most crickets are black, green,or brown.  They have six long legs that help them jump.  They cannot fly.

Habitat

Most crickets live on the ground.  They live in meadows, under rocks and logs, in fields and grasslands.  Some live in trees. They like to eat grass.

Interesting Facts

Antennas help crickets feel and smell.  Their ears are on their knees.  Most crickets cherp at night.
