Welcome to GED-i

GED-i is an online learning curriculum designed to help those seeking their GED credential prepare for the GED Test. If you have reading skills at the 9th grade level or above, excellent computer skills, and ready access to a computer and the internet, then GED-i is for you!

Please look at the attachments found below. These material include valuable information about the GED-i including enrollment procedures, skill requirements and reflection questions. There is also information about navigating the online GED-i system as well as sample lessons. We hope you find these items useful.

GED-i is only a GED preparation program. You will still need to take the actual test battery at a state-approved GED Testing Center.

In the St. Cloud area, the state-approved GED Testing Center is located at the McKinley Education Center, 216 8th Avenue North, Waite Park, MN 56387.

First Step: Download the student checklist and follow the instructions. You need to complete the first two activities on the checklist before contacting the office.

The following forms are available in two formats:

Adobe PDF fillable format: Fill out online using the free Adobe Acrobat Reader or the full version of Adobe Acrobat. With Acrobat Reader you must print before exiting or you will lose your data. Using the full version of Adobe Acrobat allows you to save your data and complete a form at a later time.

MS Word format: Fill out online. Save the modified form to your computer and send via e-mail.
