Tech Triangular Meet

Location:        South Junior High Track

Teams:            Little Falls, Mora, Tech

Events:            Standard High School Order

Entries:           Please e-mail John Telega at telega@cloudnet.com roster file from Hytek team mgr program by noon on Wednesday April 16 or sooner.  Entries will be unlimited.

Running Events:        Fastest runners should be placed in the first heats.  Preferred lanes will be randomly drawn.  Staging area will be located at the north end of the track. ¼ in. spikes or less only.  Athletes will be asked to help set up and take down hurdles.

Field Events:              There will be 4 jumps & throws with no finals.  Sign in ASAP

*Girls Long Jump and Boys Triple Jump will be run cafeteria style at the same time.  All jumps must be completed by 5:15 pm or sooner so we can switch and go from 5:30 – 7:00. 

*Suggested Starting heights will be 5’0” & 4’0” for high jump (they may be run at the same time in 2 pits).  Girls Pole Vault will start at 6’, 7’, 8’ then 9” at a time;  Boys 8’, 9’, 10’ 11’ then 9” at a time. 

*Girls Shot put and Boys discus first & will be run in flights. 

Scoring:          We will post all results on white tables out by the R.V. MSHSL scoring will be used.

Competitor Numbers:            All athletes should write competitor number on the top of their left hand in permanent marker.  Competitor number will be listed in coaches’ packet and on the shed. 

Requests:       Please understand that we have very limited seating for spectators so we would ask that your athletes and spectators come prepared to sit on the ground outside of the track.  Lawn chairs and blankets are welcome but please keep them outside of the track area. 

2 Exchange Zone judges: Mora zone 1, Little Falls zone 2, Tech zone 3, Tech will handle finish area.
