Title I

The purpose of the Academic Achievement/Talent Development Program is to foster the development of students with outstanding ability and/or performance by assisting them in achieving and attaining the highest possible skill levels in the areas of reading, writing, problem solving, creative and critical thinking. The program's aim is to assist students to be creators and producers rather than merely consumers of information by committing to:
- Assist principals, teachers and guidance personnel in efforts to meet the needs of high potential students.
- Provide programs and resources which will enable these students to reach high performance levels.
