It’s never too early to start planning for the future. Where will the future take you?
Awesome Opportunities, Proven Results
Students at North Junior High School are able to start the road to Advanced Placement starting in 7th grade. While AP is only offered at the high school level, students have the potential to enroll in honors classes in math, science, geography and language arts, sharpening their skills and establishing habits that will lead to success in high school.
Improving Access to ALL
Early preparation for academic achievement starts at North Junior High School. The Improving Access to ALL grant program encourages students who haven’t traditionally taken advanced courses to build the skills necessary for long term success in middle school, high school, and beyond. These students have strong basic skills, but are not always enrolled in honors classes. We believe every student should have the opportunity to experience an Advanced Placement course in high school, and the REACH program gets students ready for this challenge.
Why REACH?
- Cultivate stronger organizational skills
- Practice study strategies
- Develop higher order thinking skills
- Long-term academic counseling
- Goal setting
- Preparing for academic achievement NOW!
