Department Goals
- To improve educational benefit for children and youth with
disabilities through the development and implementation of appropriate
service delivery systems.
- To assure free and appropriate public education and early intervention
services through implementation of required procedures for finding,
evaluating, placing, instructing, and supporting children and
youth with disabilities.
- To enhance the effective and efficient use of assistive technology
for students and educational technology for students and staff.
- To improve educational results for children and youth with disabilities
through the provision of high quality special education instruction
and related services.
