District Technical Services (DTS) manages an information technology infrastructure that connects more than 25 buildings in Stearns, Benton, and Sherburne counties. To serve 9871 students and 2,400 employees, our technical staff manages a vast array of software, hardware, security gear, communications systems and networking equipment within each building.

DTS designs, installs and maintains District 742's information technology infrastructure, including the following:

  • computers, monitors, printers and scanners
  • building security systems and surveillance equipment
  • building intercom systems
  • ASaP support
  • overheads, projectors, and other equipment
  • the isd742.org and other web site servers
  • AV systems and our cable Channel 6 automated broadcast equipment
  • e-mail messaging systems
  • telephone and voice mail systems
  • local area networks in our schools and support services buildings
  • the GraNet network jointly owned with the City of St. Cloud
