Welcome to Talahi Community School

Making the World a Better and Greener Place

Thanks to the fabulous grant writing work of Grandpa John, we participated in Tree Trust Learning with Trees, a program funded by Xcel Energy. The Green Team started the planning, designing, and building of our outdoor environmental learning areas.  On May 15, students shoveled, hauled dirt and wood chips, and watered our newly planted trees: Sunburst Honeylocust, Black Hills Spruce, Dakota Pinnacle Birch, Hackberry, Boulevard Linden, Red Twig Dogwood, Princeton Elm, and the Spring Snow Crabapple.   If you would like to join the Green Team or help with summer watering and care of our new trees and wildflowers, please contact Sam Court samuel.court@isd742.org
