Register for College and Career Camp

The College and Career Camp is designed to help students explore different careers, learn about college and participate in fun activities. The four session camp is for students entering grades four through eight. Camp runs July 13 through 16 at the Minnesota School of Business. View the flyer for more information. Register for Health Career Service Academy

The Health Career Service Academy is for students in grades seven through 12 who are interested in pursuing a career in the health care industry. Sessions are July 20 through July 23 and July 27 through July 30, The program will be held at St. Cloud Technical College. View the flyer for more information. Download the registration form.

Register for CTE for English Language Learners

The CTE for English Language Learners program is designed to help underrepresented students begin preparing for careers and college. This free four session camp is for students entering grades 11 through 12. Camp runs June 22 through 25 at St. Cloud State University. View the flyer for more information. Register for Super Success Skills Seminar

The Super Success Skills Seminar is designed to help underrepresented students entering grades nine through 12 begin preparing for careers and college. Sessions are July 6 through July 9 and July 13 through July 16, The eight session program will be held at St. Cloud Technical College. View the flyer for more information. Nationally, motor vehicle crashes are the leading cause of death for people ages 16-24.

Alive at 25

Friday, August 14th 9:00am-1:00pm

This National/MN Safety Council Defensive Driving course is for drivers under the age of 24 and designed to help young drivers understand some of the reasons why so many in their age group are killed and injured in car crashes.

Early Childhood Screening

A reminder to all parents of children who will be starting Kindergarten in the fall of 2009.  If your child has not yet had Early Childhood Screening, please schedule an appointment as soon as possible.  You can do this either online at www.stcloudcommunityed.com, or by calling Jackie at 529-6500 ext. 6255.

 Early Childhood Screening is required for entrance in   

 Minnesota's public schools or within 30 days of enrollment into

 kindergarten. Early Childhood Screening is offered throughout the

 year. All three and four year old children must be screened at least

 once. Early Childhood Screening or a comparable comprehensive

 screening is required for public school kindergarten entrance.

Register Now for Kids' Connection

 The Kids’ Connection Program is designed to serve children

 enrolled in the Madison and Westwood Elementary Schools. The

 program provides a safe, enriching, educational and stimulating

 environment for students before the school day. The Kids’

 Connection Program runs before school from 6:30 a.m. to the start

 of the school day. Enrollment is on a first come, first served basis.

Schedule a District 742 Facility

 The use of district facilities beyond school hours is a powerful tool

 for community growth. Our facilities can be rented at an hourly

 rate. Charges cover staff time and costs associated with facility 

 use. Check for building availability, then visit our Facilities web

 page for guidelines and application.
