| The Instructional Materials Department
maintains a circulating collection of materials for District 742
staff. The collection, which is housed at Media Services, can be viewed on the Destiny circulation system within the school
district's network. It cannot be viewed at home or at remote sites
such as Riverwoods School or VA Medical
Center, St. Cloud.
Call the Instructional Materials department at x-1541, e-mail
materials requests to materials@isd742.org or create a booking list on the Destiny circulation system.
If requested materials are available they will be delivered the
following school day through interschool mail.
The Main Collection includes videotapes, books, kits, big book
sets, models and computer software. The Professional Library is
a collection of books and videotapes available to District 742 staff
for professional development. Teachers instructing gifted students
can use the Academic Achievement library. Our Student Assistance
collection can be used in teaching topics such as death, family
alternatives, sexual safety, chemical health and coping skills. The Music collection is available only to
music teachers.
