Your task is to record your adventures at Hogwarts by journaling your adventures and using that journal to make an Electronic Scrapbook of Memories.  You'll be learning to use some really cool Office Tools as you do!

You will be using a combination of  software and computer technology, along with the Internet, to make your scrapbook.  The tools you'll be using include:  Internet Explorer,  Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and possibly even FrontPage if you  publish parts of your scrapbook on the Web.

On each day of the week you'll be asked to go to specific websites, take part in an adventure, (or maybe even more than one), and record your experiences in a variety of ways.  You will learn how to use the Microsoft Office Tools for making your scrapbook as you go, so don't worry!   You'll find that "making and taking"  your scrapbook will be fun and just like magic you'll be learning all about some really great computer technology as you spend a week at Hogwarts.

Each day of the week in your adventure is listed under the Process part of this WebQuest.  Each day's tasks should be completed in order.  

You will also be doing a self-evaluation and having a conference with your teacher after you finish each day of the 'Quest.

• You will find a Green "Task Marker" in front of all tasks to be completed  for your scrapbook.

It will probably take you several days, maybe up to a week,  in "Muggle Time, " to finish all the tasks for one day, so don't worry, relax and do QUALITY work...take the time you need to show your BEST.

• To begin, just click on Process, choose Saturday, or the day of the week you are currently working on, and off you go!  You'll be saving your work in a Word Document which will become the basis of your "scrapbook."   When you are done, your files will become a presentation - an electronic portfolio of your adventure.  

When you are done with your week, and the "Forgetting Spell" has been cast, you'll still be able to print, publish, and share your work to with others.  You'll be able to keep it as a keepsake of your wonderful adventure!
